<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical multiplexer/demultiplexer which can be made low-cost and compact with simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: The optical multiplexer/demultiplexer 1 multiplexes or demultiplexes a signal group of four optical signals differing in wavelength, and includes: input/output collimators (main input/output unit) 5A, 5B to which an optical fiber cable 3 is connected to input and output the signal group; a first filter (first branch unit) 13 which transmits a first signal group and reflects a second signal group, when signal group is bisected into the first signal group and the second signal group in order of the length of wavelength of optical signal; and a second filter (second branch unit) 15 which transmits a third signal group comprising two optical signals having wavelengths adjacent to a boundary wavelength and reflects other optical signals, when an optional wavelength between the first signal group and second signal group are made into the boundary wavelength. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
