PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content contribution device reducing the contribution of inappropriate contents without burdening a system. SOLUTION: An IC card information acquisition unit 18 acquires a user ID from an IC card 12a. The user ID is sent to a content management server 30. A contributable number decision unit 39 of the content management server 30 acquires corresponding contributable number information from a contributable number database 34. The contributable number information is sent to the content posting device 10. A control unit 14 reads contents from a media reader 13 and displays a content selection screen in a display unit 15. The contributable number information is displayed on the content selection screen, and the selection of contents by a number exceeding the contributable number is restricted. Once the contents selected are sent to the content management server 30, a consideration corresponding to the number of contents sent is added to the electronic money balance of the IC card.
