PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber module capable of optically connecting the end face of an optical fiber ribbon to an array-like optical element without being polished. SOLUTION: The optical fiber module 1 includes: the optical fiber ribbon 142; and an optical connector 4 for connecting the end face of the optical fiber ribbon 142 to the array-like optical element 70 on a substrate 60. The optical connector 4 includes: a connector body 2 having a horizontal bottom relative to the substrate 60; and a guide groove 3 formed in the connector body 2 and used to dispose one end of the optical fiber ribbon 142 vertically relative to the substrate 60 on the bottom of the connector body 2. The guide groove 3 is filled with a resin between the end face of the optical fiber ribbon 142 and the bottom face of the connector body 2, the resin having a refractive index equal to that of the core of the optical fiber ribbon 142.
