PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stopper for use of medical instruments included in those regulated under JIS T3250 (2005), where the stopper can secure stabilized sealing in all the instrument parts with prescribed dimensions, and cover the outer circumference of a liquid port when the stopper is applied, and which is easily installed or removed and maintaines most reliable sealed conditions. SOLUTION: The cylindrical stopper used for the liquid port opening of a medical instrument includes a top face part and a cylindrical body connected with the top face part. The cylindrical stopper has a sealing part protruding in all radial directions from its circumferential surface, and three or more individual convex parts to fit with the concavities formed on the port opening side, according to the provisions of JIS T3250 (2005) 4.4.4 on the liquid port cylindrical wall outer circumferential surface. This medical instrument liquid port stopper is characterized in that when the stopper is capped on the liquid port opening, its sealing part comes into contact with the outer circumferential surface of a small-diameter tip part of the liquid port opening, as prescribed under JIS T3250 (2005) 4.4.4.
