<p>Disclosed is an optical information recording medium on/from which recording/reproduction can be efficiently and stably carried out even if the reproduction linear velocities are different. The optical information recording medium is a write once read many type or a rewritable type having a data area in which contents are recorded by forming recording marks having a length equal to or shorter than the optical system resolution limit which a recording and/or reproducing device has by a predetermined modulation using first channel bit length as a reference. On the optical information recording medium, a disk management information area, a recording/reproduction lead-in area, and a data area are arranged in this order in the direction of the scan of the recording and/or reproducing device. In the disk management information area, disk management information is recorded by a predetermined modulation using a second channel bit length longer than the first channel bit length as a reference. In the recording/reproduction lead-in area and the data area, address information is recorded by a predetermined modulation using the first channel bit length as a reference.</p> |
