<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent interruption of recording operation of broadcast signal and reception of mechanical damage by stopping operation of a hard disc at the time of the occurrence of an earthquake if a large scale earthquake occurs while using the hard disc, in a digital terrestrial broadcasting receiver. <P>SOLUTION: The digital broadcast receiver includes: a tuning means 30 for selecting a wanted channel; a receiving means 40 for acquiring data by demodulation process; an emergency earthquake report-acquiring means 44 which acquires emergency earthquake report; and a hard disc 80, flash memory 90, and control means 50, all of which store TS acquired by the receiving means. If the emergency earthquake report-acquiring means 44 receives emergency earthquake report during such period as the TS having been acquired by the receiving means 40 is stored in the hard disc 80, the control means 50 controls the TS acquired by the receiving means 40 to be stored in the flash memory 90, and then stops the TS acquired by the receiving means 40 to be stored in the hard disc 80. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
