<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic image forming apparatus coping with miniaturization of the apparatus while preventing deterioration of image quality by efficiently cooling paper on which an image is thermally fixed. <P>SOLUTION: A laser printer 1 includes an air duct 90 and a cooling fan 80 to face a conveyance path for conveying the paper 4 subjected to thermal fixing by a fixing device 43. The air duct 90 includes a duct body 92 extending in a width direction of the paper 4 conveyed after the thermal fixing. The duct body 92 includes a plurality of blast ports 94 arrayed in the width direction of the paper 4, to make air by the cooling fan 80 blow to the paper 4 from the respective blast ports 94. Air quantity adjusting ribs 95 are formed along one long side of the blast port 94. Each air quantity adjusting rib 95 is formed to have projection amount and width in accordance with the position of the proximate blast port 94 in the duct body 92, and formed on either long side in accordance with the position of the blast port 94. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
