<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically set network information, even when a policy relating to an interface is different between adjacent node devices. <P>SOLUTION: When node devices 2a, 2b in a network information setting system are link-connected, with the link connection as a trigger, setting information is exchanged between the node devices 2a, 2b to set network information. The node devices 2a, 2b refer to network information each other; and if setting contents to be set to the network information are different, the present node device proposes its desired policy to the adjacent node.
