<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generating method of SH wave, a detection method of SH wave, and an ultrasonic measuring method for generating or detecting SH waves at high conversion efficiency with possible relative movement to examinees easily, without using any adhesive contact catalyst to examinees. <P>SOLUTION: A bevel longitudinal wave 3 is irradiated obliquely to a lateral surface 1b from a side of the top face which is the surface 1a of an examinee 1, SH wave 5 is generated through a mode conversion at the time when the bevel longitudinal wave 3 enters obliquely to the lateral surface 1b of the examinee 1, or the SH wave 5 is irradiated obliquely from the surface 1a side of the examinee 1 to the lateral surface 1b, the bevel longitudinal wave 3 is generated through a mode conversion at the time when the SH wave 5 enters obliquely to the lateral surface 1b of the examinee 1 so as to detect the SH wave 5 by receiving the bevel longitudinal wave 3, and furthermore, ultrasonic measurement becomes possible by using the generating method or the detection method of those SH waves 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
