摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus and a control program for the ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus capable of suitably evaluating the attenuation of ultrasonic waves propagated in a subject by eliminating the influence of harmonic components. <P>SOLUTION: A composite wave obtained by combining a fundamental wave of center frequency f1 and a fundamental wave of center frequency f2 is transmitted at least twice while performing phase modulation on each scanning line to receive echo signals corresponding to respective transmissions on each scanning line. The thus-obtained echo signals corresponding to the respective transmissions performed at least twice are used to carry out subtraction processing between the echo signals on each scanning line. Echo signals in which the harmonic components are offset are thereby extracted, and an f1 frequency component and an f2 frequency component included in the extracted echo signals are used to calculate the difference of signal intensity (after logarithm compression) on each position of a scanned cross-section. An attenuation image in which the signal intensity difference in each position of the scanned cross-section is represented by luminance is generated using the calculated signal intensity difference. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p>
