<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus and an image forming method capable of preventing paper jamming caused by air flow action to a continuous paper recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes at least an image forming part for forming a toner image on the continuous paper recording medium, a fixing means for fixing the toner image on the recording medium, and an air flow action means provided along a conveyance path of the continuous paper recording medium and making air flow act on the continuous paper recording medium, and has an air flow control means that changes an operation state of the air flow action means only in a predetermined period before and after the top of the continuous paper recording medium passes through a position where the air flow acts on the continuous paper recording medium by the air flow action means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
