<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing structure capable of forming a firm magnetic brush, and reliably preventing leakage of magnetic developer to the outside of a wall from a position of a shaft of a rotating member. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device 60 includes the sealing structure 90 provided between a mixer 64 and the wall 61a rotatably holding the mixer, forming the magnetic brush of the magnetic developer by magnetic lines of force generated between a magnetic part 91 of the mixer 64 and a magnet member 92 provided on the wall 61a opposed to the magnetic part 91, and preventing the leakage of the developer to the outside in an axial direction of the wall 61a from the position of a shaft 64a of the mixer 64. In the sealing structure 90, width W1 of the opposed surface of the magnetic part 91 to the magnet member 92 in the axial direction is smaller than width W2 of the opposed surface of the magnet member 92 to the magnetic part 91. Thus, the magnetic line of force is concentrated in the axial direction of the mixer 64 to be formed with high density between the magnetic part 91 and the magnet member 92. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
