<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a pleat formed body by which throughput is high when manufacturing the pleat formed body for fluid separation, and to provide the pleat formed body manufactured by the method. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the pleat formed body 1 for the fluid separation includes: a process of pleating the planar material of a single layer or multiple layers; a process of forming a pleat laminate 2 having a plurality of pleat parts 2a by pleating and sealing a virtual pleat laminate end face 4 including the end edge of the plurality of pleat parts 2a to form a sealing part 4a; a process of supplying an adhesive to the inner side of the pleat laminate end face 4 while applying centrifugal force in the direction from the inner side to the outer side to the pleat laminate end face 4; and a process of removing the sealing part 4a formed on the pleat laminate end face 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
