PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively and stably suppress vibration of a distal end portion on a rotational-direction downstream side of a plate regarding a storage device such as a magnetic disk device and the plate provided therein. SOLUTION: The plate 18 includes a block 184 provided in a position protruded outside from a storage medium peripheral surface at the end on the rotational direction downstream side of a storage medium 20, and a plate arm 185 extended horizontally and upward from the block 184. The block 184 has its block bottom surface placed on a base 12 or on the top surface of the block 184 of the plate 18 located at a lower stage. The plate arm 185 has its upper end of the plate 18 set on the top stage abutted on the inner surface of a cover 11 and is pushed by the cover 11 to be elastically deformed.
