PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new immunoassay method, capable of measuring a measurement object inside a specimen, with high sensitivity. SOLUTION: An apoenzyme reactivation immunoassay method allows simultaneous or sequential coexistence of a specific antibody to the target measurement object, the measurement object labeled with a supplementary factor, apo (supplementary factor eliminated)-flavin enzyme, and a reagent detecting activation of flavin enzyme in the specimen. The immunoassay method and a reagent composition thereof contains a chelating agent in a system which causes interaction between the specimen and the measurement object labeled with the supplementary factor.
