PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner capable of improving usability in a structure in which a front panel arranged in the front face of a casing is relatively movable to the casing. SOLUTION: In this air cleaner 1, air is taken in an air flow passage 22 from inlets 5 by a fan 18, and discharged from an outlet 20. In the front face of a body case 2, the front panel 4 relatively movable in a front-back direction to the body case 2 between a first position closer to the front and a second position closer to the back, is arranged. The inlets 5 are formed in the front panel 4. In the inlet 5, a blade plate 8 is arranged. The blade plate 8 opens the inlet 5 when the front panel 4 is positioned at the first position, and closes the inlet 5 when the front panel 4 is positioned at the second position. Thus, the front panel 4 is moved back and forth between the first position and the second position, thereby changing an amount of suction of air in the inlet 5 arranged in the front face of the body case 2.
