PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating oil supply device of an internal combustion engine capable of preventing a hydraulic pressure control mechanism from being diagnosed to be defective despite the fact that the mechanism is not defective. SOLUTION: This lubricating oil supply device 40 of an internal combustion engine 10 includes an oil pan 41 for reserving the lubricating oil supplied to each lubrication portion of the engine 10, an oil pump 43 for sucking the lubricating oil from the oil pan 41, a supply passage 42 for supplying the lubricating oil discharged by the oil pump 43 to each lubrication portion of the engine 10, a hydraulic pressure control mechanism 50 for controlling the hydraulic pressure of the supply passage 42, and a diagnosing means for diagnosing the trouble of the hydraulic control mechanism 50. When the diagnosing means determines that a supply hydraulic pressure P is smaller than a determination value PA and air is sucked by the oil pump 43, it is prohibited that the diagnosing means determines that the supply hydraulic pressure P is lower than the determination value PA due to the trouble of the hydraulic pressure control mechanism 50.
