PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wooden composite surface member capable of achieving excellent durability of a connection state of a basic material and a wooden exterior material and a good external appearance and preventing the wooden exterior material from deteriorating. SOLUTION: This wooden composite surface member 1 to be attached to a building by letting its one surface face the outdoor side includes the plate-like basic material 2, a wooden material part 30 formed by a plurality of wooden exterior materials 3 fixed on a face on the outdoor side of the basic material, and a frame member 7 provided close to an outer peripheral face of the wooden material part 30. The basic material 2 and the wooden exterior material 3 are provided with engaging members 4, 5 having many mushroom-like projections, respectively. The wooden exterior materials 3 are fixed on the basic material 2 through mutual engagement of the projections of the engaging members.
