PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound insulating cover for a collecting pipe which can obtain the expected quality regardless of the change of a shape of the upper side of a part of the peripheral wall of the collecting pipe located below a floor slab. SOLUTION: The sound insulating cover 30 for the collecting pipe is flexible and disposed to the collecting pipe fixed to the floor slab in a state where the vertically middle portion of the collecting pipe is embedded in the floor slab so as to cover a part of the peripheral wall of the collecting pipe located below the floor slab. A cutting position designating mark 34 for forming a notch which allows a notch for covering the reduced diameter part or enlarged diameter part of the collecting pipe 1 in an upward narrowing position or an upward expanding position to appear by cutting operation is provided on the outer side part 30b for the upper part disposed on the upper side in a state mounted to the collecting pipe 1.
