PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolytic capacitor that has satisfactory transition response characteristics, and also can function as noise filters. SOLUTION: Two capacitor element pieces 21 are prepared such that both the ends of a positive electrode are set to be positive electrode extraction sections 22, 22 and both surfaces of the center section of the positive electrode are set to be negative electrode extraction sections 23. The two capacitor element pieces 21, 21 are stacked such that the negative electrode extraction sections 23, 23 overlap each other and the positive electrode extraction sections 22, 22 mutually deviate nearly in right-angle directions to form a capacitor element 20. A mounting board 41 is prepared such that the mounting board 41 includes conductors 44, 45 in which positive electrode extraction sections 22, 22 of the capacitor element coincide with a negative electrode extraction section 23 on a mounting surface, and includes an positive electrode terminal section 42 and a negative electrode terminal section 43 on a packaging surface. In this case, the conductors 44, 45 are connected to the positive electrode terminal section 42 and the negative electrode terminal section 43 via a through-hole.
