摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a finite linear motion guiding unit which is small in the number of parts, compact in size by a simple structure, and low in cost by forming a pinion and holder assembly to be housed within a range of a cross section of an orbital passage and by allowing the assembly to be attached simply to a retainer. SOLUTION: In a holder 6, both-side surfaces are formed angularly in cross section adjacently to an orbital plane 10 of each of orbital bases 1, 2, an interfit groove 25 profiled in concave is formed along a longitudinal direction in a summit 37 of the angular section, and the interfit groove 25 is fixed to an edge 24 of an interfit hole 27 formed at a retaining plate 4. Furthermore, the interfit hole 27 is formed in a rectangle longer in the longitudinal direction, a projection 23 which extends within the hole and slightly projects is formed, and the projection 23 is locked by being fixed in the interfit groove 25 of the holder 6.
