摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a complex-azo pigment that has high sensitivity and high image quality and is useful and practical as an organic photoconductor for an electrophotographic photoreceptor applicable to achieve high image quality and high speed, and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: Decarboesterification of an azo compound having a carboester group represented by specific general formula is performed using a chemical means, a thermal means, or a photolytic means (for example, decarboesterification is performed simultaneously or stepwise when the azo compound having the carboester group represented by specific general formula exists together with another pigment or using two or more azo compounds having the carboester group represented by specific general formula) to convert into an azo pigment represented by specific general formula, so that the complex-azo pigment comprising the plurality of pigments including at least the azo compound is produced.
