PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat for a vehicle capable of reducing a neck obstacle value by stably keeping a riding posture in a normal seating load with a simple constitution without a complicated constitution, and making an entire upper body of an occupant sink downward in rear collision. SOLUTION: This seat for a vehicle comprises a seat back frame F having at least side parts 10 positioned on both sides and an upper part 20 arranged at an upper part; supporting members 40 (42, 44) suspended between the both side parts 10, and an engagement member 50 whose one part is attached to the seat back frame F and engages the supporting members 40. Then, at least one of the supporting members 40 (42, 44) and the engagement member 50 is deformed by a predetermined shock load and engagement in an engagement area is canceled, so that the supporting member 40 can move backward of the vehicle.
