<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system, a method, a server and a computer program, for allowing a person in charge of update to detect the possibility of update conflict, even when a large-scale updating is executed in a distributed environment. <P>SOLUTION: A client transmits, to a server, an instruction to copy a predetermined file for updating, and receives the copied file. The client generates update information about updating when the received file is updated, and transmits the generated update information to the server. The server extracts a file containing a portion related to the received update information, and determines whether the extracted file is copied and transmitted to other client or not. The server transmits warning information indicating that the file is updated in another client, to the other client having received the file, when determined to be copied and transmitted to the other client. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
