<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compost manufacturing apparatus easily composting agricultural waste and a method of manufacturing compost. <P>SOLUTION: The compost manufacturing apparatus has: a raw material charging bag 11 in which a raw material of compost such as garbage is charged; and a rotary table 12 for arranging the raw material charging bag 11 and rotating the raw material charging bag 11. An arranging table 15 is arranged below the rotary table 12, to which vibration member 17 such as a vibration motor is fixed. The rotary table 12 is rotated and vibrated by the vibration member 17 while charging the raw material of the compost into the raw material charging bag 11.
