PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the breakage (failure) of circuit parts constituting a line-to-ground fault detection section. SOLUTION: When a malfunction (erroneous opening of switches 42 of a battery 12) is detected in an ungrounded drive electrical system including first and second ungrounded power supplies 14, 12, an inverter 22, and a motor 16 driven by the first and second ungrounded power supplies 14, 12 through the inverter 22, switches SW1 through SW5 connected to an insulation resistance detector 51 are opened to insolate the insulation resistance detector 51 from the ungrounded drive electrical system.
