PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing unit in which a heating roller is easily and safely replaced. SOLUTION: The fixing unit includes the heating roller 14 and a pressure roller 15, wherein the heating roller 14 is provided to be extracted along a shaft direction, and an opening for replacement 78 is formed at a portion of a frame 50 opposite to the heating roller 14, then a support roller member 70 is provided outside the frame 50 and near the opening for replacement 78 so as to support the heating roller 14 to be extracted and inserted.
