The connector for filling a clutch actuating system with hydraulic medium comprises an intermediate position, in which the chamber is connected with an additional connector (19), and an end position, in which the chamber is not connected with the additional connector. The connector comprises a plug element (22) that is arranged in a plug element retainer (21) in the intermediate position. An independent claim is also included for a method for filling a hydraulic clutch actuating system with hydraulic medium.
