<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when a plurality of display screens are provided in an observing direction, lenses disposed between an observer and the display screens for the observation of these display screens generates aberrations different according to the display screens, and when aberrations generated for every display screens differ, an observer may not be able to observe displayed images satisfactorily depending on how the aberrations appear. <P>SOLUTION: The stereoscopic optical device includes the plurality of display screens in the observing direction of an observer and a lens group between the plurality of display screens and the observer.
