<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable provision of train exchange guidance to a user, without making an active input of an entraining station and a detraining station by the user. <P>SOLUTION: For each identification information set of a memory medium for use, when entraining a transportation means, a train exchange guidance provision apparatus includes a memory unit for storing a use history which includes a detraining station history which indicates detraining stations where the memory medium user detrained in the past. Also, when the memory medium is used for a memory medium reading terminal installed at a station, the train exchange guidance provision apparatus obtains the identification information of the memory medium put into use and station information, which identifies the use station where the memory medium is used, from the memory medium reading terminal. Then, use of the obtained identification information as a search key, the train exchange guidance provision apparatus acquires the usage history from the memory unit and predicts the detraining station where the user is to detrain by using the detraining station history included in the use history.
