<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device for reducing size of a case body, sealing it airtightly, and preventing the optical characteristics from deteriorating in an airtightly sealing process; and to provide a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The optical device stores a first optical component 101 and a second optical component 102 having smaller width than that of the first optical component 101 in the case body and seals the case body airtightly. The case body includes: a first case body 201 storing the first optical component 101; and a second case body 202 having smaller width than that of the first case body 201 and storing at least a portion of the second optical component 102. A boundary between the first case body 201 and the second case body 202 is heated by high-frequency inductance heating to join these case bodies mutually by melting solder 300. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
