PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocurable resin composite in which carbon nanotubes are uniformly dispersed and which can be easily fixed, and to provide a method for synthesizing a polymer using the composite. SOLUTION: In the photocurable resin composite, a carbon nanotube-protein conjugate composed of carbon nanotubes and a protein is dispersed in a photocurable resin. The method for synthesizing a polymer includes irradiating a laminated body, in which the photocurable resin composite and an ion liquid containing a dissolved monomer and a cross-linking agent are brought into contact, with a light.
