PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display device performing superimposed-display hardly disturbing safe driving. SOLUTION: In a navigation apparatus, it is determined by a route deviation prediction part whether a vehicle has a possibility of deviating from a guide route within a prescribed distance before an intersection Is in a front landscape (S107). When determined that the vehicle has a possibility of deviation (S109; Yes), a traffic sign is displayed on HMD in a more remarkable display form than a constituent of the front landscape (rough sketch display), and when determined that the vehicle has no possibility of deviation (S109; No), control for displaying the traffic sign on HMD in a display form having lowered visibility furthermore than the remarkable display is performed by a display image generation unit. In the case of real display having lowered visibility, even if route guide information is displayed when a driver recognizes necessity of right/left turn, the display is inconspicuous in the front landscape to thereby be not an obstacle for the view of a driver, and the driver hardly turns his eyes upon the display.
