PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience when a propeller is started while suppressing cost, in a marine vessel propulsion system or a marine vessel provided with a plurality of propellers. SOLUTION: An outboard motor 3 includes an engine unit 50 and an outboard motor ECU 20. A remote control ECU 60 is provided correspondingly to each outboard motor ECU 20. In the remote control ECU 60, a signal from a start/stop switch 81 is input into an input port 21. Further, a signal from an all-device start/stop switch 80 is input into the input port 21 of a plurality of remote control ECUs 60. Upon occurrence of input into the input port 21, the remote control ECU 60 controls starting/stopping of the engine of the outboard motor 3 according to the operating condition of one's own outboard motor and the other outboard motor and the input state into the input port corresponding to the other outboard motor.
