PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator capable of providing integrated and sharp sound quality in a band ranging from a low band to a high band, and to provide an electrolytic capacitor incorporating the separator therein to be applicable to audio equipment. SOLUTION: The separator contains a bagasse pulp at a blending ratio of 10 to 30 wt.%. This separator is held between an anode foil and a cathode foil and is wound to form a capacitor element, which is impregnated with an electrolytic solution and is hermetically encased in a metal case.
