PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit board which can be cut without affecting an electronic component mounted thereto. SOLUTION: The circuit board for a liquid crystal display includes a wiring board 10 which contains a plurality of wiring pattern areas 12 and a waste board area 16 and in which a slit 18 is formed between each wiring pattern area 12 and the waste board area 16, and an electronic component 24 mounted to each wiring pattern area 12 of the wiring board 10.
