PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal crimping device capable of more surely determining the quality of crimping treatment, in a simple structure. SOLUTION: In the terminal crimping device 1 having a crimper 2 arranged at a moving-up and down state; an anvil 10 oppositely arranged under the crimper 2; and an electric wire holding means 20, arranged at a moving-up and down state, in order to transfer an electric wire D to the anvil 10 by descending the electric wire D, at terminal crimping; the terminal crimping device has a detection means, capable of directly detecting the descended position of the electric wire D; and a control means capable of determining quality of the crimping treatment by processing a detected result of the detection means as measured waveform data and by comparing the measured wave data with standard waveform data regarding normal crimping treatment.
