PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To substantially simplify a structure and to reduce costs in a vortex flow meter for mass flow rate measurement. SOLUTION: The vortex flow meter 1 includes: a vortex generator disposed in a flow channel through which the fluid to be measured flows; a bypass flow channel orthogonal to a flow direction of the fluid to be measured; an ambient temperature sensor 17 measuring the temperature of the fluid to be measured; a heater 14 disposed in the bypass flow channel; a drive circuit 5 supplying an electric current to the heater 14 to generate heat so that the temperature of the heater 14 is higher by a constant temperature than that of the fluid to be measured that is measured by the ambient temperature sensor 17; an electric current sensor 6 measuring the electric current value flowing through the heater 14; a memory 7 recording an electric current-flow rate information prescribing correlation between the electric current value flowing through the heater 14 and the mass flow rate of the fluid to be measured; and a central control part 8 calculating the mass flow rate of the fluid to be measured on the basis of the electric current value measured by the electric current sensor 6 and the electric current-flow rate information recorded in the memory 7.
