PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fur material for a brush, which can be dyed more easily than hitherto and has high visibility and a high design nature in which a dyeing part and an achromatic part are vividly classified by color, and the brush which employs the bristle material. SOLUTION: In the fur material for the brush which consists of the cut bristle of a synthetic resin monofilament, the synthetic resin monofilament uses a synthetic resin (A) as a sheath component and consists of a core sheath composite structure which uses a synthetic resin (B), which is more chromophil than the synthetic resin (A), as a core component, a taper part is formed in at least one end of the cut bristle, and the core component, which appears at the tip of the taper part, is dyed.
