<p>A pneumatic tire having high resistance to uneven wear and reduced rolling resistance. A pneumatic tire (6) wherein, in a cross-section taken in the width direction thereof when the tire is mounted on an applicable rim (7), a belt is flat, the height (SWh) at which the tire has a maximum width is equal to or greater than half the height (SH) of the cross-section of the tire, and the carcass path length (CSR1) which is the distance from the intersection (I1), at which a carcass (2) and a line which bisects the distance (CSH) in the tire radial direction between the outermost end of the carcass (2) in the tire radial direction and the outermost ends of bead cores (1) in the tire radial direction and extends parallel to the rotation axis of the tire intersect each other, to the intersection (I2), at which the carcass (2) and a line which is drawn perpendicularly to the rotation axis of the tire from each end, in the width direction, of a tilted belt layer (3a) having a smallest width intersect each other, is greater than the carcass path length (CSR2) which is the distance from the intersection (I1) to the intersection (I3) between the carcass (2) and a line connecting the outermost ends, in the tire radial direction, of both the bead cores (1).</p> |
