HYDROPHOBIC SOLUTION, HYDROPHOBIC GLASS FOR VEHICLE AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF

A hydrophobic solution consists of silane, silicate ester, alcohol, acid catalyst and stabilizing agent, wherein the carbon number of silane can be 10-18. A method for producing a hydrophobic glass for vehicle comprises coating said hydrophobic solution on the glass surface to form hydrophobic film and obtaining said hydrophobic glass through physical-chemical reaction and heat treatment. A hydrophobic glass for vehicle comprises glass and hydrophobic film coated on the glass surface, wherein the hydrophobic film is made from said hydrophobic solution and the contact angle of the hydrophobic film is greater than 90°. Strong Si-O chemical bond is formed between the hydrophobic film and the glass and thus the adhesion is improved.
