MODULE SYSTEM WITH SERIALLY ARRANGED ELECTRONIC MODULES

A module system with serially arranged electronic modules (10 to 14), wherein a controller (15) for controlling the modules (10 to 14) is provided. Control and data lines (16) run through the modules (10 to 14) starting from the controller (15) in the form of serial or parallel bus lines, which are connected in common in each module (10 to 14) to electronic functional devices (19). A number of parallel module selection lines (17) run through the modules (10 to 14), of which at least one is connected to the functional device (19) in each module (10 to 14) to open or block said functional device (19). The selected module(s) (10 to 14) can thus be simply addressed without need for channeled addressing by means of the control and data sequences.
