A coaxial cable connector holds two coaxial cable 8,10 ends, held together by core connection means 36,64, and within an inner assembly of a shield connection means 38 and two crimp ferrules 34,52 holding the inner assembly together. An outer assembly of housing parts 68,70 features ferrule support or engagement means 76,88 which may further hold and secure the ferrules 34,52 in place. Also disclosed is a corresponding method of assembling the connector. |
