The invention relates to a substantially dimensionally stable carry box (1) which is produced of a foldable blank (2) and which comprises a cover (4) having at least one edge (4), a bottom (4) and a lid (6). The lid (6) and the cover (3) can be separated from each other in at least some sections by means of a tear-off strip (7), said tear-off strip (7) having a beginning (8) and an end (9), and the beginning (8) of the tear-off strip (7) resting on the edge (4). The edge (4), below the tear-off strip (7) resting on the edge (4), is designed in such a manner as to define a handling cut-out (10) facing the interior of the carry box so that a user, when opening the tear-off strip (7) for the first time, can push at least one finger into the handling cut-out (10) and thus behind the tear-off strip (7). |
