PURPOSE: A mobile communication apparatus for transmitting communication data through various channels and a control method thereof are provided to reduce the load of a communication network depending the opening of a traffic channel by transmitting communication data through an access channel. CONSTITUTION: A communication interface unit(110) forms a communication channel through the communication with a base station, and a storage unit(160) stores communication type information corresponding to a communication event. A communication event sensing unit(130) senses the communication event of a mobile communication terminal. A communication type decision unit(140) judges the communication type corresponding to the communication event. If the communication type is an access channel communication type, a data transmission unit(150) transmits the communication data with a network connection signal through an access channel. |
