PURPOSE: A system and a method for compensating a train number for preventing a train tracking error are provided to prevent the deterioration of reliability by compensating a train number movement in a control system server of a train concentrated control device. CONSTITUTION: A control system server(110) transmits information transmitted from LDTS(Local Data Transmission System) of a station to a train number compensating device(160). The train number compensating device receives information from a control system server and monitors the state of a train number movement. The train number compensating device requests the deletion and movement of the train number to a control system when the train number movement has an error. The control system server and the train number compensating device include an RS-422/485 communication device(170) for RS-422/485 connection.
