PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic recording medium capable of effectively preventing recording information of a magnetic card from being forged by falsification, and a method of recording data in it and reproducing data from it. SOLUTION: In this information recording medium, an optically writable and readable rewritable type display part having a reversible heat sensitive layer in which transparency or hue of color varies reversibly in dependence upon temperature and an information storage part are formed, and code data generated from set data based on a specified algorithm is recorded into the optically rewritable display part and the information recording part. In reading, coded rewrite data is read from the optically rewritable display part and the information recording part, and decoded based on the specified algorithm. |
