FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hand crimp tool. Hand crimp tool comprises two arms 12 of jars that can turn between side plates 14, 16 and have inner edges 34 with opposed recesses 40 to receive spring retainer that form a hole between them for said retainer 42, and spring 48 connected with said retainer to displace jaw arms in opening direction and spring retainer backward to aforesaid hole. Aforesaid hole and/or spring retainer differ from known designs so that to allow retainer to be pushed from said hole or skewed therein in the case of fracture formation in at least one arm of jaws, outside of appropriate retainer recess running along outer edge 32 of jaw arm. ^ EFFECT: indication of jaw arm breakage before fault of hand crimp tool operation. ^ 31 cl, 11 dwg |
