The element (3) has a support body (4) comprising a quadrilateral front panel (7) extended by lateral panels (8, 9). A flexible plastic film (5) is defined by a peripheral edge. The film is integrated with the body such that the film partially covers the front panel and partially seals an opening on the front panel to form a flexible contact surface (5a) on which a parallelepiped object (A) to be blocked is supported. One of sides of the film comprises a monoblock housing (5b) in which one of lateral panels of the body is inserted for assuring integration of the film with the body. The support body is made of semi-rigid material i.e. paperboard. An independent claim is also included for a cardboard blank for constituting the support body of a blocking element.
