METHOD FOR ANALYSIS OF GENETIC POLYMORPHISM OF GENE ENCODING CYP2C8

PURPOSE: A method for analyzing SNP of a gene encoding CYP2C8 is provided to use in developing a drug metabolized by CYP2C8. CONSTITUTION: A method for analyzing genetic SNP of a gene encoding CYP2C8 comprises: a step of preparing a promoter encoding CYP2C8 of a genome DNA, intron 1-8, exon 2, 5, 8, 9 and untranslated 3' and determining nucleotide sequence thereof; a step of detecting SNP presence from the determined nucleotide sequence; a step of identifying the detected SNP using haplotype selected from H1-H13; and a step of analyzing genetic SNP using the identified haplotype.
